The thing about the crystal skulls is that there is not one simple
explanation to them. They operate, function, exist on many different levels
at the same time. There are really many different ways of loking at them and
understanding them. They are multi-dimensional. To understand them properly,
you are going to have to leave behind your idea that there is only one
truth, the one simple answer and the one explanation. You no longer need
narrow things down, but broaden them out, to start looking at the skulls in
a new way. Our way is not the way of textbooks and libraries, experts or
specialists, out way is a living philosophy. You might call it religion, but
it is more than that, more than going to church once a week or saying
prayers. It is more about a way of life and a deep connection with the
earth. It would be hepful for you to understand with your heart a little more about the ways of indigenous people. That will also help you understand
the crystal skulls. The western world has been seduced by the pursuit of
what you call "objective" facts and knowledge. Yet this objective knowledge
is known only with the mind. It has been cut off from the heart.. Without
the connection with the heart, "facts" can be manipulated and used cruelty.
For us, knowledge is not something that is known only with the mind. For us,
true knowledge is not something that you read about in a book or that
someone else tells you, but comes from what you directly experience for
yourself. The truths we learn are not "objective" facts but come to us from
the rich experience of life, for truths are what we know with our hearts as
well as our minds.

The problem with the church is that it has mediated spiritual experience. It
is the priest who is seen as having the connection with God, what we call
Great Mystery. Before we had the priest, our connection was direct. But when
Christianity came, it all had to be done through church, through the priest
who became the authority on God and the experts on the spirit. Only they
knew the best. Only they were seen as official recipients of God's word.
They now conduct and supervise our contact with spirit. Yet what has really
happened is that many people have now lost their own direct connection with
Great Mystery.
Over time, the simple, natural connection with Spirit is experienced by
fewer and fewer people. When we cut ourselves off from Great Mystery, we
lose awareness of the sustaining relationship with Spirit that is there for
us. This relationship with Spirit that has power to transform and enrich our
existence then simply fades away. Many of the problems our societies are now facing are a direct result of the many ways that we have cut of ourselves
off, severed our connections not only spiritually, but all our connections
with all other living things. What has happened is that people think of
themselves as separate from what is around them. They fail to see the
connections between themselves and others. This separateness is an illusion,
and in this illusion lies much of the grief and suffering of humanity.

It is our greatest illusion that we are separate. Like the Maya, the
Cherokee and Seneca also call the world we live in "the Fourth World". But
what we call it is "the Fourth World of Separation". For we live in a period
of history that is a great lesson in the many different forms that
separation can take. For 65,000 yeras we have lived in this cycle of
history. It is during that period of time that people wanted to rule others.
This has been accomplished through conquest, through rules and regulations,
through the class system, through governments and religion. All types of separation began during this period. My people prophecies always predicted
that during this period of history people would come to see themselves as
separate not only from each other, but also as separate from the Earth. They
said that during this period we would see an increased desire in people to
rule over each other and across the natural world. And so separation has now
became the main organizing principle through which people now understand the
world and by which they live their lives. For now we think only of "self"
and "other". We think only of "us" and "them". We see every other person and
every other thing as somehow separate from ourselves. When we look at others
this way we stop seeing the connections between ourselves and our fellow
human beings and other living things. And so, because we see them as somehow
separate, somehow "other" than ourselves, we start to treat other people and
other things less favourably than we would treat ourselves. While our
individuality and our uniqueness should be celebrated, it should not become a way of thinking that separates us from others, that makes us think that we
are better than others. It is this current way of thinking that our people
call "the mind of separation"

The mind of separation has led to all forms of oppression, to conquest, to
class systems and so on. It is now leading even to breakdown of whole
families and communities. For this mind of separation refuses to see the
connections between all people, to see that we are brother and sister, to
see that we are all equal, to see that we are all the same people. This mind
of separation has led much destruction, to the Spanish Inquisition, the Nazi
Holocaust and the near total genocide of indigenous people in this land. But
we are all the same people, the same race, human race. One of the
consequences of the mind of separation is that it has led people to see the
natural world as something out there that is separate from themselves.
People have lost contact with the earth, forgetting that she is living being, and that we only have life because she has given it to us.

What needs to be remembered is that all living things have only one mother,
Mother Earth. We are all connected with her and with each other. The crystal
skulls are here to help us to reawaken our sense of connection with all
life. We have been thought by the white man that God is separate from us,
that he has to be worshipped in the church, that contact with God is not
possible except through organized religion, through the church, mediated by
the priest. God is what we call Great Mystery. It is all around us, in every
tree, leaf, mountain, and cloud. Stone has Spirit within it. It is animated
with the consciousness of the Creator. It is living. The spirit can be seen
in everything, every bird that signs, every animal that walks upon the earth
and every child that laughs. For Great Mystery is within us also. There is
no separation, we are one with all of creation, we are one with God. That is
one of the first teachings of the crystal skull.

The problem with the western world view is the way it has separated people
from nature. It sees nature as inanimate, and does not see its soul. There
is loneliness that comes from being cut off from nature, from the stars, the
animals and the plants. This separation means cut off from the joy that is
inherent in the natural world.

We are here because of destiny. Because destiny that ancient ones are
returning. Now is the time that what is written in the prophecies must be
fulfilled. Because of this I am here with you. We are the messengers. But we
are not the first messengers. The first messengers are crystal skulls, the
mothers and fathers of science.
The ancient people did not know how to govern themselves and so creator sent
the four prophets, the "Mia". The prophets came long ago, and they wrote the
great laws and they taught all of the great science that is called "the
Mayan light". These were the four lords who completed their mission and they
left these great depositories here on Mother Earth.
But before they left they said, "Children, do not forget our memory. We have
left you good reason and wise council. We have left you sacred knowledge.
One day we will return and we will complete our mission.

Prophecy says the elders will return. The prophecy says now is the time of
the awakening. This is your job now, to awaken. The Vale of Nine Hells is
past and the Time of Warning has now arrived. It is time to prepare for the
Age of Thirteen Heavens. The prophecy says, "Let the dawn come. Let all
people and all creatures have peace, let all things live happily" for the
love must not only be between humans, but between all living things. They
said, "We are the children of the Sun, we are the children of time and we
are the travellers in space. May all the songs awaken, may all the dancers
awaken. May all the people and all living things live in peace. For all your
valleys, you are the mountains, you are the trees, you are the very air your
breathe." And so, my brothers and sisters, I am not here to give you gold, I
am not here to give you treasure. I am here to give you these words that are
not mine. These are the words of our grandmothers and grandfathers, the
travellers in time, our ancestors from the stars:"We are all one like" We
eat white food, yellow food, dark food, because these are all the colours of
our mothers and fathers in the heavens. We are all one like the colours of
the rainbow. We are all fed by the air, fed by the rain, fed by the
Grandfather Sun, Man, the animals, the birds and the trees, we are all one.

Now is the time of the return of the grandmothers and grandfathers. Now is
the time of the return of the elders. Now is the time of the return of the
wise ones. And the wise ones are all of you. Now is the time to go out into
the world and spread the light. The sacred flame has been kept for this
purpose and now the time approaches when you will be required to love all
things, to love a world that has gone crazy, to rebalance the heavens and
the Earth. For the time of Warning has come to pass and the Warriors of the
Rainbow are now beginning to born. The Vale of Tears, the Nine Hells, is
over and it is time to prepare for Thirteen Heavens. The ancestors are
returning, my brothers and sisters and we do not have long. Now is the time
that the prophecies will be fulfilled. May all arise. May all arise. Not one
or two groups will be left behind.
