Wesak/Vesak Day 

Vesak, also known as Buddha Jayanti, Buddha Purnima and Buddha Day, is a holiday traditionally observed by Buddhists and some Hindus in South and Southeast Asia as well as Tibet and Mongolia.


Vesak is one of the most important festivals in the Buddhist calendar. It is also known as Wesak Day or “Buddha’s Birthday”.


Vesak is the celebration of the birth, enlightenment and passing away of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. Gautama Buddha’s real name was Siddhārtha Gautama, but Buddha is a title that means 'the enlightened' or 'awakened one'. So after he found enlightenment, Siddhārtha Gautama was called, Gautama Buddha.

Kerrotaan siis että Blavatsky olisi sanonut kreivitär Watchmeisterille että valo tulee suomesta ja tämä olisi sitten kerrottu Pekka Ervastille. Jos asia todella olisi niin tärkeä ja paikkaansa pitävä, siitä aivan varmasti olisi jätetty Blavatskyn tai Alice Baileyn tuotantoon edes jonkunlaista mainintaa, mutta ei ole muuta kuin suusanalinen huhu.   NORTHERN LIGHT I have written the following article for the group Finland's Galactic Union about a year ago, where it was well received. I'll put it in this blog now too. It's good for everyone to know about it because the Northren Light prediction has been feared to cause war.
